{When Life Gives You O.J. Prize Pack Giveaway}

It's summertime!  Every year, my children's teachers say that it's important that kids continue reading over the summer so that they don't end up loosing ground with their reading skills by the time they get back to school in the fall.  Yet, it can be tough to get kids to read when beautiful weather, sprinklers, and pools are competing for attention.  We got the chance to read the book "When Life Gives You OJ" by Erica S. Perl and it's such a cute and enjoyable book that it can make getting kids to read easy.

My son is almost 2 and is beginning to take interest in going potty. He is to the point of wanting to try every diaper change. He makes it a game to run to the bathroom and sit on his training toilet. He is trying so very hard and wants to go but still has only gone a few times. I love coffee. It is one of the few things i must have everyday. Although i am not really picky about my coffee i do like it to taste good.  I had the chance to try Gevalia 1853 Heritage Blend. Right away upon opening the package i could smell the wonderful aroma. I thought it tasted smooth, and i just adjusted to my preferred strength and i loved it. WIN!! Hurry Up Review and Giveaway(ends 6/9)

We recently got the chance to try a game by Random Line called “Hurry Up!” and we love it! It’s for 2 to 6 players, ages 8 and up. It reminds me a little bit of Yatzee, with trying to roll specific combinations of the dice. However, it is much easier for my 8 and 10 year olds to play because there isn’t as much strategy involved since you are trying to roll a specific combination on the dice in each round.

We had lots of fun playing this game and the kids begged to play another game of it right away.

I liked this game because it is also educational in that you have to write down and add up your scores and on a couple of the levels you have to add up the dice. It also seems to be great for teaching kids to not give up even if they are behind. The person in the lead seems to change frequently, and the upper levels are worth more points and you can win one of those and quickly pass everyone else.

Overall, this is a great game, simple rules, educational, and lots of fun. The box says “It’s Fast and a Blast!” We agree.
