Easy Lunch Boxes Review and Giveaway(Ends 3/31)CLOSED

I hate buying plastic sandwich bags!  I hate spending the money on them.  I hate throwing tons of them away all the time.  I have been wanting to find a “greener” waste-free way of packing the kids lunches.  I’ve found it.

We having been trying out the Easy Lunch Box System from Easy Lunchboxes.com, and we love them.  They are a three compartment plastic container with a single lid and an insulated lunch bag.

The kids say they are great because at lunch they sit down, take the lid off, and all the food is right there without having the dig around in their lunch pail for the different plastic bags. They also love helping to pack them.  (My youngest struggles a bit with the zipper on the lunch bag so if you have little ones you may need to add a zipper pull.) 

I love them because they are easy to pack - no messing with individual bags - I just put everything in and click on the lid .  Then when the kids get home, I just toss the containers in the top rack of the dishwasher.  They are also microwave safe which makes them great for adult lunches too. 

Here are a couple of more things that I love:

• The lunch bag has a grommet on it that you can use to put charms or key chains, backpack zipper clips or other decorations to personalize the cooler bag.  And it has plenty of room for a ice pack and for a thermos or extra snacks.
• The Easy Lunchboxes website has lots of great ideas for lunch packing “inspiration” too.  I’ve found that having the container has encouraged us to find things to pack other than the standard sandwich and chips.  (And lots of those things have been healthy fruits and vegetables. Yay!
