Sew last minute fun and cute fabric Valentines!!!

I am out of time, completely out of time. For Valentines for my 3 kids. I love them therefore I usually get them something. But this year I completely spaced it totally. While it would be easy to run to the store and grab something quick I decided to to what I love to do. Used some fabric scraps and come up with something cool.

I made a approx 6-7 inch heart template and chose some fabric scraps and matching chenille to make the heart. I actually made the chenille pieces slightly bigger to give it a fluffy look around the edges. I stack them and did a top stitch all the way around. I then took about a 9 inch ribbon and stitched on the heart, to secure a treat or note or anything you like. I made my 2 girls the pink ones and the BSU football one for my little guy. I used some suckers and chap sticks. Also made some paper heart note tags to tie on to the ribbon as well. Make them for your kids, husband, for grandma and grandpa from the kids.
Other ideas to tie on the heart.
Toothbrushes
Razors(husband)
Candy
Pencils
Note

Here our how mine turned out! Let me know what you think.

Those are so cute! The neat thing is that they can be reused over and over again with more goodies.
