ARTIST BIO
Brandi Powell - Owner/Artist
Sweet Harvey's owner/artist earned her BA in Graphic Design from
Grandview College. Along with her studies in design she focused on both
illustration and fine art.

Always more interested in creating imagery, her time is now focused
primarily on illustration and printmaking. Simple, modern, fresh and a
bit whimsical would describe the style of her work. Original character
creation and spot illustration are her subjects of choice.

Her illustration work is mainly created as Vector art which allows her
illustrations the most versatility. She also works traditionally with
acrylic on canvas.

Sweet Harvey Letterpress was founded as another opportunity to share her
original illustration work. Letterpress printing allows her to combine
her modern illustrations with vintage printing techniques to create a
truly unique product for her clients.


Which one of your items is your favorite and why?
My robot line is by far my favorite.  I truly enjoy drawing them and
find them to be adorable characters. My robot line currently includes
greeting cards, baby shower invitations & a wedding suite package.
Robot valentines will be available near the end of december!


Where is your favorite place to shop, and why?
Honestly I shop mostly on ETSY.  I am not big on shopping in general - I
would much rather spend my time drawing or printing. When I do need
something I like to support other artists like myself so I buy handmade
and again mostly from ETSY.


If you could speak directly to your customer what would you say?
My line is fun and cheerful and my illustrations are my own so you can
only find them at Sweet Harvey Letterpress LLC. Sending Sweet Harvey
corrsepondance is a sure way to bring a smile to the face of anyone
receiving it!


Where else can we find you?
Currently my work is on ETSY and TRUNKT. Stationary or craft fairs are
in the stars for later next year as well as finding a home at a local
