{Pearl Paradise Review} + Giveaway

I love that quote on the Pearl Paradise website; to me it's saying that when you want something of value, it can be difficult to get what you want and you have to go after it.  However, when you want pearls, Pearl Paradise makes it easy.  They pride themselves on "making the beauty of fine pearls available and affordable to everyone."

Their website offers both cultured and exotic natural pearl jewelry for both men and women and is easy to navigate. You can shop by style, type of pearl, or by price. I love a website that lets you quickly and easily find exactly what you are looking for!

I've always loved pearls. There are few pieces of jewelry that are as beautiful and as classic as pearls. Pearls are the world’s only organic gemstone and are a symbol of purity and natural beauty. I was thrilled to receive the white cultured Freshwater Pearls in white and they are absolutely beautiful. The Pearl Earrings came in a nice quality  box. Also included was a certified appraisal, a pearl care kit - including two Pearl Sachets and a Microfiber Pearl Cloth, and an interesting documentary about a working pearl farm with Jeremy Shepherd, founder of pearl paradise.

I've always thought of pearls as being for women, but another interesting thing that I learned is that Pearl jewelry for men is the newest trend in Hollywood. If you have ever wanted to know more about pearls, there is also a lot of information on the Pearl Paradise website about types of pearls, pearl grading, their history and care. I find the history part really interesting. For example, did you know that in many areas only rulers and royalty were allowed to wear pearls. Some of the myths and legends surrounding pearls are interesting too. My favorite is an Arab legend that talks of pearls being "dewdrops filled with moonlight that fell into the ocean" - beautiful description isn't it?
