As a mom of three we have buckets and buckets of art supplies like paint, markers, playdoh , crayons, and tons of un-identified things. I have never really gave to much thought into what is in those art products. I have always kind of assumed that if its packaged for kids and labeled for kids it must be safe for kids.
After finding out about Clementine Art and that they make earth friendly non-toxic art products. It really got me thinking, what is in our kids art products? With Clementine Art there is no guessing that.Theirs is made to be friendly to your child and the to the earth. Clementine Art uses mineral and plant pigments for coloring of their art supplies. Your little artist is free to create while mom can relax knowing the products are safe! Take a second and watch their podcast linked below.
Here is a little from Clementine Art*
Clementine Art produces professional-quality and earth-friendly naturally non-toxic art supplies with pure, simple ingredients. Clementine’s products are colored with plant and mineral pigments (such as spinach and turmeric) instead of artificial dyes, providing an innovative solution to chemical laden, artificially colored art supplies. Clementine Art’s products do not contain any synthetic preservatives, animal byproducts, or petroleum bases, and Clementine is the first art product company to list all ingredients on its packages. Clementine Art uses renewable resources; packaging is made from post-consumer recycled materials and is printed with soy-based inks in a wind-powered facility. Clementine is gentle to kids and to the earth. Watch our podcast http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GbM-14-04a4
